Evidence: Mixed by row. Nothing here is medical, investment, or legal advice.
Honest near-term buckets
- Composites and coatings — mechanical, barrier, corrosion, EMI, friction. Example order: 2026-09-10-first-graphene-pacific-urethanes. Example test: Sparc/HydroGraph in 2026-W38.
- Conductive additives — batteries, plastics, inks. Ask loading and whether graphite would have done.
- Thermal interface / heat spreaders — film or platelet pads; interfaces dominate.
- Membranes and barriers — water, ions, gases; hole size and defects decide.
- Sensors — huge literature; few fielded instruments. Stencil-on-gold is a fabrication step toward sensors (holey-graphene-molecular-stencil), not a cleared neural implant.
- RF / photonics research devices — real GHz papers (2010, 2011); not a phone SoC.
Slow or stalled as originally sold
- Replace silicon CMOS — band gap and foundry economics (theories, 2012).
- Replace ITO tomorrow — large-film demos exist (2010); qualification is the rest of the work.
- Graphene battery as a category — always unpack (additive vs anode vs coating). GMG 10C small cells: 2026-09-09-gmg-battery-cycling (Preliminary).
Biomedical
Large paper count (electrodes, scaffolds, drug-delivery vehicles, GO adjuvants in animals). Licensed human products are a different evidence class. No treatment claims on this site. Fringe overlay on vaccines is logged separately (conspiracies).
How this archive will grow
New application notes should attach: form, process, metric, cell or coupon size, evidence label, source. Niche is welcome. Hype without a denominator is not.
